HydroClimX Lab is an initiative to bring multiple Geoscience domains such as Hydrology, Climate Science, Atmospheric science, Geomorphology, Data Science, Machine Learning, and social science to a common platform to learn and grow together. Decomposing Complexity is our focus, whether it is science, sharing ideas, or collaboration. Presently, the lab has been set up at the Department of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee. The aim is to expand HydroClimX with no boundaries. We aim to integrate scientists based on a common goal irrespective of their academic level, university, region, and country. Currently, our core strength is data science, extreme events studies and prediction, forecasting, and modelling. The X-factor of the lab is to integrate any relevant domain into it.
How about discussing science without any fear, formality and Complexity? How about if you could be guided and received answers to your queries? We have designed HydroClimX café intending to integrate advanced science, latest news, hand-on-sessions and sessions-on-demand.

On 10 July, 2023 the IAHS Bureau established a Working Group on Unsolved Problems in Hydrology (UPH).
The goal of the UPH community initiative, promoted by the Working Group, is to increase the coherence of the scientific process in hydrology (thus overcoming fragmentation) through providing common research subjects; energise the hydrological community through increasing the awareness that we do not fully understand many hydrological processes; and to enable the community to speak with one voice to increase public awareness and enhance funding opportunities for community projects.
