Prof. Ankit Agarwal, Professor, Department of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee, has been selected as an Associate of the Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc), Bengaluru, in recognition of his outstanding research contributions and academic excellence.

Prof. Ankit Agarwal elected as INAE Young Associate 2025 and conferred the INAE Young Engineer Award 2025 by the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) in recognition of outstanding engineering contributions and impactful research in the field of hydrology.

Prof. Ankit Agarwal, Department of Hydrology has been awarded the ‘IEI Young Engineers Award 2023-24’ in Environmental Engineering discipline.

Prof. Ankit Agarwal, Department of Hydrology has been awarded the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) travel Grant to participate in the IUGG Union in Berlin from 11-20th July 2023.

Prof. Ankit Agarwal, Department of Hydrology has been elevated to Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society (FRMetS) by RMetS, London, UK. His outstanding contribution to meteorology and Climate has been widely recognized.

Prof. Ankit Agarwal has been selected as a Young Outstanding Faculty 2023 at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and awarded Institute Research Fellowship for 03 years.

Awarded the 2023 Division Outstanding Early Career Scientist Awards of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) 

Received the DAAD Research Ambassador title in an orientation meeting at the German Embassy, New Delhi.
